To make a booking, please telephone us on 07907 386854 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm availability. We require a deposit on booking (bank transfer preferred but otherwise cheques are also fine,), the balance should be paid 8 weeks before your holiday. If the booking is made with less than 8 weeks before the date of booking, then the whole sum should be paid up at the time of booking.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In the event that you have to cancel your holiday before you have made your total payment (i.e. more than 8 weeks beforehand), we will do our utmost to re-let but reserve the right to retain your deposit.
If you have to cancel within 8 weeks of your holiday date (i.e. after you have paid in full), we will try to re-let for that holiday week, but if that is unsuccessful then we reserve the right to retain the total cost of your holiday. If we do re-let your holiday week, payment will be refunded as much as the value of the re-letted sum.
We therefore recommend that you take out holiday insurance that will cover this.
We take time to ensure that the apartment is ready for your holiday, so please arrive after 5.00 p.m. The house should be left reasonably clean and tidy by 10.00 a.m. on the day of your departure.
Unfortunately, we have had to use commercial waste company for refuse collection and they cannot recycle. In the interests of recycling, it would be appreciated if bottles, tins etc are taken to Ambleside recycling centre. It is conveniently located on the way into Ambleside.
In the case of an emergency, or if urgent maintenance must be done, we do reserve the right to access the cottage during your stay.

Greenbank is a non-smoking house.
The house can only sleep the allocated number of people.
