Book Greenbank House for your family gatherings and holidays in 2019.  We have re-organised the house so now, groups of upto 10 people can now come to Greenbank.  We have also installed a table tennis table in the garage along with some other games so you can enjoy it during raining days.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Lake District towns and yet superbly central, Greenbank is perfectly placed in a quiet, rural location at Skelwith Bridge in the Lake District National Park and makes an ideal base from which to walk or explore the Lake District.

Skelwith Bridge is in the heart of the Langdale Valley only a 10 minute drive from Ambleside, Grasmere and Coniston. From the back doorstep you could walk all week without ever needing a car. It is beautifully located next to the Rothay River for excellent walking, kayaking and cycling from the doorstep with good pubs and cafes only a short stroll away

This weekend, we have snow on the mountains and sunshine all around.  The snow drops are coming up and you know that spring is around the corner.

Greenbank House, for 10 people,  has one apartment and two bedrooms on the ground floor, so is ideal for people who find stairs a problem.  The main lounge, dining area, and two bedrooms are on the first floor.
